Well it all started with a trip to Urban Outfitters, specifically the book section. I love every single thing they sell in this store: the clothes, the cameras, the crazy plates with the word 'douchebag' printed across them. But nothing excites me more than scoring an interesting read and there ain't no place more well-stocked than UB, this I can guarantee. It's a smorgasborg of crazy-cool texts that would be right at home in Hunter S. Thompson's personal library.
But what really piqued my interest was this little gem called, "101 things to do before you're old and boring". Now maybe it's because I'm turning 31 in October, maybe it's because I already feel 'old and boring' but either way I came away from that store with a roadmap to self-fulfillment. And a book of dirty Russian words but that's another post entirely; maybe even another blog?
But I digress. The mission of this blog is to go through this book in its entirety. The challenges range from 'Do a Card Trick' to 'Start a Band'. In the event I've already accomplished one of them I will take a poll amongst my friends and whichever garners the most votes I will consider a triple-dog-dare and do it with gusto!
Oh and one last thing I should mention: the book comes with star stickers : ) When I say WAY you say COOl! WAY! (cool) WAY (cool) Do you see how much I need this book now?
